The Bemidji Regional Interdistrict Council (BRIC) is a well established and highly regarded special education services cooperative serving 11 member Districts in North Central and Northwestern Minnesota for over 50 years.  

Assistant Director of Special Education/Special Education Supervisor Position

Assignment: Full-time administrative position. Responsible for coordinating with the BRIC Assistant Special Education Director team, to provide special education program supervision, consultation and coordination including the supervision and evaluation of staff.  Travel to member Districts with administrative office located in Bemidji, Minnesota.  Estimated start date for this position is July 1, 2025.

Qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in special education.  Demonstrated working knowledge of special education programs, service delivery and State and Federal special education law. Position demands strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of formal dispute resolution procedures and current IEP/IFSP Due Process procedures.

Licensure: Director of Special Education license. 

Reports To:  Executive Director.

Compensation: Current salary starting range at $114,827 – $121,708 dependent on experience, Competitive Fringe Benefits, 205-day contract.

Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist to be assigned to Waubun-Ogema-White Earth MN area.  CFY supervision available.  Will consider applicants working towards a Masters.

Special Education Teacher - Deaf Hard of Hearing

Part Time (3 days per month) teacher of Deaf Hard of Hearing to serve BRIC Member District schools. Must be willing to travel.
